Common Pool fund,

Special Division State Grant

As per Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act 1997 from various A and B Grade temple 10 and 5 percent contribution is collected as per actual income of the temple and a common pool fund is generated in the name of Commissioner Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Bangalore.

The amount collected through Common Pool fund is further dispersed for the developments of the various temple  through State Dharmika Parishath headed by Muzrai Minister,

State Grants, STPT  Grant. Aradhana Scheme,

Various temple authorities submit plan and estimate duly Technically signed by Executive Engineer with a request to sanction State Grant, after due verification and gathering information the proposal is sent to Government of Karnataka through Deputy Commissioner with a request to sanction state grant.

Government of Karnataka Muzrai Department sanctions the grant in the name of Institution.

As per approved list the amount is dispersed to the institution after fulfilling the norms prescribed

Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments institutions Development and Infrastructure

There are 1297 notified temples in Bellary district, A Grade 7 temples, B Grade 12 temples, C Grade 1278 temples. The temple income is spent for the necessary expenditure and  development works.

The temple authorities submit annual Budget to meet the necessary expenditure and development works, As per approved Budget the temple authorities will prepare plan and estimate for development works such provide drinking water, Toilets blocks, Shelter, Rooms, after due approval the work will be entrusted to any agency to complete the task As per norms and conditions.

Temple administration

Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments department will look after the better administration and management of various temple, the department is keen and bound to uplift the rituals and customs of the temple. To look after the and manage the temple Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments act 1997 and Rules 2002 is in force with effect from 01-05-2003.

Tasdik and Annuity fund

Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments temples own inam land, the inam land is been taken over by Government as per Certain Inam Abolition Act and Karnatak Land Revenue Act. As per act  Tasdik and Annuity fund is sanction to the temple to meet necessary expenditure of the institution. The annuity amount and Tasdik amount is paid to institution through tahsildars.

Annual Cash Grant

Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments temples whose annual income is too low, where the annual income is too low, to meet the necessary expenditure of the institution such as daily pooja items, current fees, cleanliness, annual function expenditure and mislanious expenditure proposal is been sent to Commissioner Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Bangalore through Deputy commissioner, after due verification of the proposal Government of Karnataka sanctions Annual cash Grant to the temple to be paid annually. The cash grant amount will be dispursed to the institution through tahsildars.
